A Day in the Life of an Artist

Wonderful day painting in Ault Park in Cincinnati among the beautiful blooming cherry trees.  The model did a wonderful job considering the allergic reactions we were all experiencing among all flowering trees.  Plein Air painting can have its challenges, but nothing compares to the time in front of the model in the natural light.  Below is an half hour oil sketch that I will use as a guide to make a larger studio painting.
