This painting was the second in this series of Bobbi. I love the southwest feeling of this model with her long dark braids. I enjoyed painting her hands on the basket and her dress. I wanted to create quiet movement in the painting with the design, the color and the objects. Her expression is so peaceful. She sat very patiently while I painted her from life in my studio. This model is about 10 years old.
