A Day in the Life of an Artist

Here is a new pastel I just finished this week.

The model is the daughter of a huge Italian family I know.

The daugthers have either taken a few session of classes from my

classes at the Womans Art Club, or they have modeled for the

class.

Bobby, with her long dark braids, looks like she is resting after

gathering flowers from the flower market.

I love the colors in the skirt, a direct contrast to the dark, almost

blue tones in her hair.
